The <br />Accountant position was posted and a candidate was hired to fill the position effective May 22, <br />2023. Ms. Quasabart has requested to stay on as part-time staff through the end of the year to <br />support the Finance Department as they transition with new staff members. <br />Discussion: <br />During the April 24th reports by staff, Finance Director Beer informed the City Council of Ms. <br />Quasabarts' request to remain on staff with the Finance Department on a part-time basis and <br />Council was receptive. Ms. Quasabart will take on the roll as Accounts Payable Technician at a <br />set wage of $36.00 per hour and work 30 hours per week. The position will remain benefits eligible <br />on a pro -rated basis.
