Mounds View PD Reserve Unit 2023 Quarter 1 Report <br />Currently, we staff five Reserve Officers. One Reserve Officer, Asa Overton <br />successfully completed his training process during quarter one and is now qualified for <br />solo patrol duties. <br />During the first quarter of 2023, Reserve Officers volunteered a total of 70.25 hours and <br />completed 53 different activities, while on solo patrol. Reserve Officers completed 34 <br />proactive patrols, 6 traffic/accident assists, transported 1 person to jail and responded <br />to 1 animal call. Additionally, Reserve Officers were tasked with assisting department <br />personnel on 6 different occasions and had 5 training assignments. <br />Oversight of the Reserve Officer Unit changed from Sgt. Knitter to Sgt. Hanson during <br />quarter 1. <br />
