rt <br /> • <br /> MEMO TO: Mounds View Park and Recreation Commission <br /> FRAM: Staff <br /> DATE: August 24, 1982 <br /> RE: Sodding of the soccer field at Silver View Park <br /> Attached is a copy of a memo staff forwarded to the City Council for their <br /> consideration regarding the sodding of the soccer field at Silver View. <br /> The City Council reviewed this issue at their regular scheduled meeting on <br /> August 23, 1982 and recommended that the issue be delayed for action until <br /> the follow-up seeding is completed by the contractor. <br /> It was the City Council 's position that until we were better able to ascertain <br /> what condition the turf would be in following the seeding, the money could <br /> best be spent in other improvements in the park. <br /> • <br /> Should the commission desire this issue to be rediscussed with the council <br /> by staff at a future meeting, feel free to provide that direction at Thursday 's <br /> meeting. <br /> Enc.
