-3- <br /> It was further indicated by the Park Commission <br /> that a community meeting be established , at <br /> which time the community residents would pro- <br /> • vide input as to the type of equipment that was • <br /> selected by the Park Commission on June 2, 1984 <br /> at 9: 00 a.m. Staff indicated that a follow-up <br /> letter would be sent out to each of the resi- <br /> dents affected by the Random Park tot lot <br /> development and a meeting would be set as indi- <br /> cated. <br /> SUMMER PROGRAM REVIEW Staff reviewed the summer program offerings and <br /> indicated that the summer brochure had been <br /> forwarded to each of the Mounds View City resi- <br /> dents by direct mail . Highlights for the 1984 <br /> summer season included an expanded summer clin- <br /> ic offerings, expanded swimming lessons' to <br /> include scuba diving , semi-private lessons and <br /> adult lap swims as well as a Mounds View North <br /> Star Day Camp program. <br /> STAFF REPORT Staff indicated that Maureen Thielen , Aquatics <br /> Director would be requested to attend the next <br /> regularly scheduled Parks and Recreation Com- • <br /> mission meeting to review the department' s <br /> aquatic program.
