MEMO TO: Mounds View Parks and Recreation Commission <br /> 1111 FROM: Staff <br /> DATE : May 22 , 1985 <br /> RE: Potential Task Force Members <br /> Staff has drafted the following list of Mounds View residents <br /> that I feel would be appropriate to serve on the Mounds View Task <br /> Force for future park funding : <br /> 1 . Rich Wilhaus representing the Mounds View Athletic Assoc . <br /> 2. Gary Payment representing the Irondale Basketball Assoc . and <br /> Mounds View Athletic Assoc . <br /> 3. Art Zielinski representing the Mounds View Swim Club. <br /> 4 . Jon Holmes representing the North Suburban Boxing Assoc . <br /> 5. Glen Beggin representing the Nike Adult Soccer League .* <br /> 6. Derrill Lambert, President of the Sno-Mounties. <br /> 7 . Stan Monson , Chairperson representing the Mounds View Foot- <br /> ball Assoc. , Mounds View Athletic Assoc. and Soccer Assoc . <br /> • 8. Howard Neissen, former mayor and city council member. <br /> 9 . Jan Quick, representing the Festivities Commission and Iron- <br /> dale Basketball Assoc . <br /> 10. Joan Notaro representing the Groveland Park Foundation . <br /> 11. Mel Brandi representing the Greenfield Park neighborhood. <br /> 12. Diane Wuori representing the boy scouts and girl scouts. <br /> 13. Les Tatarek, CPA <br /> 14. Russell Paul <br /> *Lives outside the City. <br /> Staff has met with a number of these individuals and they have <br /> indicated an interest and willingness to serve on such a task <br /> force . Staff , before a formal list was developed, wanted to get <br /> a reaction from the Commissioners regarding these names and pos- <br /> sible other individuals. Staff would like to keep the committee <br /> at a maximum of fifteen including representatives from the City <br /> Council and Park and Recreation Commission to be determined as <br /> per your direction . <br /> 4111 Staff will be reviewing this item with you to solicit additional <br /> names. <br /> BKA/sll <br />
