Season clean-up - spring and fall <br /> 1. Spring - all park sites clean and free of litter , <br /> debris and leaves prior to May 1 . <br /> 2. All sand removed from turf , parking lots and hard <br /> surface areas prior to May 1 . <br /> 3. All winter wear and tear to park sites repaired <br /> and areas restored by May 1 . <br /> 4 . Fall - all park sites clean and free of litter , <br /> debris and leaves prior to December 1 . <br /> VII . OUTDOOR ACTIVITY AREA - all areas used for an athletic <br /> contest or department sponsored activity. <br /> 4111 <br /> A. Ballfields - includes City and School District fields. <br /> 1 . All infields are to be dragged as per the week <br /> field schedule provided. <br /> 2 . Fields used for department adult sponsored con- <br /> tests are to be dragged prior to each daily use . <br /> 3. Fields to be used for adult contests are to be <br /> lined with marble dust prior to each daily use . <br /> Minimum base paths and foul lines. <br /> 4 . Turf areas are to be lined with paint on a weekly <br /> basis. <br /> 5. Bases are to be provided for all adult contests <br /> prior to daily use . <br /> 6. Bases, home plates, pitching rubbers are to be <br /> checked for prcper fit weekly during the season. <br /> 7 . Weather may dictate increased frequency of main- <br /> tenance activity. <br /> B. Soccer/football fields - includes City and School Dis- <br /> IIII trict facilities. <br /> 1 . All fields are to be in safe playing condition <br /> during the season . <br /> 2 . All fields used for adult or department sponsored <br /> contests are to t; lined with paint weekly. <br />
