1985 PARK MAINTENANCE OBJECTIVES <br /> 410 <br /> The primary goal of the Park Maintenance Division is to provide a <br /> continuous and systematic program of repair , replacement and <br /> maintenance of all park and recreation facilities and equipment. <br /> 1 . Develop and establish a listing of park maintenance and con- <br /> struction standard goals which can be directly equated to <br /> monetary service levels. <br /> 2. Develop job descriptions for each of the park maintenance <br /> positions. <br /> 3. Develop an ongoing park maintenance training program to <br /> include annual membership in the park supervisor' s associa- <br /> tion as well as enrollment in one technical/training session <br /> each year . <br /> 4 . Certify at least one of the two park maintenance men in the <br /> area of herbicide and fertilizer spray application . <br /> 5. Establish an ongoing job performance review system for the <br /> park maintenance men . <br /> 6. Work in joint cooperation with the public works department in <br /> developing an ongoing vehicle maintenance system to include <br /> but not limited; to annual safety checks, routine maintenance <br /> program, capital depreciation and establishment of a City <br /> Wide equipment pool . <br />
