-2- <br /> Ms. Mitchell stated that former Director Anderson <br /> had promised the residents that Forester Rick <br /> Wriskey would contact them regarding a landscaping <br /> 110 plan. Staff explained that during the transition <br /> between former Director Anderson and herself, this <br /> been conveyed, but she would direct Forester <br /> Wriskey to develop a questionnaire to determine <br /> the residents ideas regarding the landscaping <br /> plans. <br /> Other questions raised during the discussion <br /> included the possibilty of stocking the pond and <br /> the use of Aqua-shade to eliminate the excessive <br /> weed growth in the pond. <br /> WOODCREST PARK IMPROVE- <br /> MENTS AND PLAY STRUCTURE Staff distributed a variety of information on play <br /> structures and park amenities. After a lengthy <br /> discussion, the following items were recommended <br /> by the Commission for improvements to Woodcrest <br /> Park: <br /> 1. Miracle play structure - white tubes with <br /> green poles. ($9,200) <br /> 2. Two in-ground picnic tables ($756) <br /> 3. Two benches ($378) <br /> 4. One grill ($79) <br /> 5. Miracle four seat swing set ($450) <br /> 6. Repairs to Woodcrest shelter building as <br /> follows: <br /> • <br /> a. Paint <br /> b.. Windows <br /> c. Locks <br /> • d. Flooring <br /> ' e. Stairs <br /> f. Ramp <br /> • <br /> 7. Glider swing ($682) <br /> • 8. Landscaping ($500) <br /> 9. Maze 'n' Trail ($1,500) <br /> 10. Timbers and sand ($400) <br /> 1.1 . Water fountain and plumbing ($450) <br /> 12. Bike rack ($168) <br /> 410 ' 13. Miscellaneous repairs to all park shelter <br /> buildings ($2,787) <br />
