This amount will be <br /> • matched by an additional $10 , 000 from the Groveland Park <br /> Foundation to develop two unlit tennis courts at Groveland <br /> Park. <br /> 2. City Hall tot lot - $7 , 500 . This project will redevelop the <br /> City Hall tot lot with swings, whirl and replacement of two <br /> slide sections. <br /> 3 . Silver View Park tot lot - $20 , 000 . This would provide the <br /> development of a major play environment at Silver View Park <br /> in 1987 , as no playground equipment is currently available at <br /> this site . <br /> 1988 <br /> 1 . Hillview Park tot lot - $15 ,000 . This money would be used to <br /> update and renovate the Hillview Park tot lot which will be <br /> 15 years old in 1988. <br /> 2. Woodcrest Park -$30 , 000. Relocation of hockey rink to Silver <br /> View Park and development of a small neighborhood ballfield. <br /> 3 . Turf establishment at all City parks - $5 ,000 . All City <br /> parks to include top dressing, seed and fertilizer. <br /> 4 . Paving of Silver View Park parking lot - $50 ,000 . Silver <br /> 4111 <br /> View receives the greatest residential use within our park <br /> system and we are currently experiencing major vandalism <br /> problems due to our inability to control the access in and <br /> around the parking lot. <br /> 1989 <br /> 1. Toro Groundsmaster - $10 , 000. This vehicle will replace on <br /> of our existing units which will be 11 years old in 1990. <br /> 2. 3/4 Ton Pickup - $12 ,000. This will replace 417 which was <br /> purchased in 1980. <br /> 3 . Aerator and spraying attachment for John Deere tractor - <br /> $8,000. Both of these items need to be purchased to improve <br /> our park maintenance functions due to over usage of facili- <br /> ties. <br /> 4. Lighting of Silver View softball and soccer fields - $50 , 000 . <br /> Our adult athletic programs continue to grow and the need to <br /> expand our athletic fields can best be met by adding lights <br /> to best utilize our existing facilities. <br /> 4111 <br />
