City of Mounds View, Minnesota Management Report, Page 19 Park Improvement Fund The Park Improvement Fund is designed to collect park dedication fees/donations. • During 1985, this fund collected $8,403 in such donations and had interest earnings of $906. The remaining balance of $5,587 is committed for future park improvements. Storm Water Management The Storm Water Management Fund is designed to collect area-wide storm water drainage fees. During 1985, this fund collected $22,208 of such fees and earned interest of $21, 369. This fund expended $764 on miscellaneous storm sewer expenditures during 1985. The remaining fund balance of $277,582 is committed to be expended for the design, construction, preservation or improvement of storm water systems. State Aid Fund The State Aid Fund consists of residual MSA monies received from the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Activity of this fund had been minimal prior to 1984. The City expended $226,636 during 1985 on MSA Street Project. The remaining balance o $76,318 is available for expenditure on MSA qualified activities. Water Systems Contributions Fund The Water Systems Contributions Fund collects water availability charges (WAC) . During 1985, this fund collected $19,512 of such charges and earned interest of $15,457. No expenditures were charged to this fund during 1985, 1984 or 1983. The remaining balance of $200,056 is committed for funding construction replacement modification or major maintenance of water systems or debt service thereon. Greenfield Park Fund The Greenfield Park Fund was established in 1985 to accbunt for improvements to Greenfield Park. This project is being financed by an LCMR Grant and a cash transfer from the General and Special Projects Funds. 111/1
