As shown in the accompanying resume and enclosures, I have a background in a wide range of educational, work and volun- teer experiences in different organizations which satisfy the basic requirements that are mentioned in the Position Accountability Write- Up. I have applied my background and skills to the development of the Community Education Aquatic Program and its personnel policies at Francis M. Grass Junior High Pool. If it would be of interest to you, I would be happy to share them and the highlights of the preschool swim progression, which I also developed, with you in an interview. • Along with my unique familiarity of a broad range of facilities and programs, I am one of few instructors in the Twin Cities who is certified and experienced in completely instructing the aquatic sec- tion necessary to fully train lifeguards according to the specifi- cations now being recommended by the American Red Cross and required by the City of St. Paul. The combination of my proven management abilities, current American Red Cross certifications, and background emphasizing strong people-oriented and interpersonal skills makes me a viable candidate for the position being offered. My diversity in aquatic programs and skills are an added advantage that further enhance my capabilities in Risk Management and cost recovery efforts that may also be of interest to you.
