To improve upon the existing services and programs offered by Group W, Mounds View is establishing a local access committee to assist in the production of community based cable TV productions. The potential use of community based pro- gramming is unlimited; ranging from youth sports programming, City Council and School Board meetings, individual creative pro- 4111 jects, local theater and special school functions to name a few. We have scheduled a meeting for Wednesday, OctStudioor , tog 5 at 6: 30 p.m. at the Edgewood Community Center Access "networking" the many skills and talents that already exist with- ' in School District #621 . It is our hopes that we will begin to develop a core of people interested in improving their skills in • production, editing , and taping so that we can bring our communi- ty events "live" to our fellow neighbors and residents. • The meeting is open to all individuals interested in finding out more about local access programming from the novice to the ad- vanced; so that we can all begin to grow and learn together about . the exciting medium of cable TV. We look forward to seeing each of you on Wednesday, October 30 at the "local access studio" .
