<br /> We, the undersigned citizens of Mounds View, do hereby Petition the Parks and Recreation Commis-
<br /> sion for the City of Mounds View, and the City Council for the City of Mounds View to:
<br /> Finish construciton of the wood-chip hiking path around Silver Lake Pond so that the path •
<br /> completely circles the entire shoreline.
<br /> This task should be undertaken as soon as possible so that all citizens of Mounds View can
<br /> have the experience of being able to walk around the pond in a safe manner, and with the
<br /> knowledge that they are indeed on park property.
<br /> In view of the fact that the land around the pond is owned by the City, for the benefit of all
<br /> citizens, it is imperative that this path be constructed so as to make clear the rights of all
<br /> citizens to walk on the path,and also to insure a safe and uninterrupted hiking path around
<br /> Silver View Pond.
