Rowley and <br /> Chairperson Burmeister. <br /> Councilmembers present; Councilmember Wuori <br /> Staff present; Director Saarion and <br /> Administrative Assistant Linke. <br /> • <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES A motion was made by Commissioner Silvis, seconded <br /> by Commissioner Long to approve the minutes as <br /> written. Motion passed unanimously 7 ayes, 0 <br /> nayee. <br /> CHAIPERSON'S REPORT No report. <br /> •JNCILMEMBER'S REPORT Councilmember Wuori reported that the park <br /> ( dedication fee from the Red Oak Sub•-division would <br /> be approximately $1 ,500. <br /> WELCOME NEW MEMBERS Chairperson Burmeister welcomed the new <br /> Commission Members. <br /> LAKESIDE PARK FUNDING <br /> REPORT Staff .informed the Commission that the Spring Lake <br /> Park City Council had passed the $1,200 requested <br /> for capital improvements at Lakeside Beach for the <br /> 1987 swimming season. The Spring Lake Park City <br /> Council preferred to reassess the need for the <br /> capital improvements monies on a yearly basis <br /> rather than make it a permanent part of the • <br /> Lakeside budget. Staff added that the Mounds View - <br /> City Council would be considering the request for <br /> funds at their March 2, 1987 meeting. <br /> SILVER VIEW PARK CITIZENS <br /> CONCERNS Mary Mitchell, a resident from the Ma'rv• Anderson <br /> development. abutting Silver View Park was• present <br /> . at. the Commission meeting. representing the • <br /> neighbors of her area. She had several concerns <br /> regarding a landscaping plan around the pond area <br /> and the proposed maintenance of the area as well. t <br />
