These bills provide for the <br /> grant programs for local park and recreation projects and the Metropolitan <br /> Regional Park projects. They also include funds for the DNR and Governor's <br /> Olympic Training Center initiatives. Membership lists of House Appropriations <br /> and Senate Finance committees are included with this memo. Please contact your <br /> local legislators and request their support for these bills. Ask them to <br /> discuss their support with members of the appropriate committees. It also helps <br /> if your councils, boards, and/or commissions write. Please let them know of <br /> your affiliation with the Minnesota Recreation and Park Association in your let- <br /> ters or phone calls. Remind them that MRPA sponsored the Outdoor, Minnesota <br /> Style, day at the Capitol on February 25th. <br /> 1. HF 826. Chief Author: Rep.
