October 5, 1999 <br /> MEMO <br /> TO: LAKESIDE PARK IMPROVEMENT COMMITTEE <br /> FROM: EDWARD LAUN AND JAY McCLUSKEY <br /> SUBJECT: UPDATE FROM COMMITTEE MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 8, 1999 <br /> 1. Repairing flume and retaining wall is still being looked into. <br /> 2. The following equipment was approved and ordered; Park shelter, concrete slab, <br /> two picnic tables, barbecue grill, trash receptacle, hydraulic whirl and a megarock <br /> play structure. The total cost of equipment and installation will be $17, 213.06. <br /> Weather permitting, everything will be installed this year. <br /> 3. Playground equipment "Painting Party" was scheduled for Saturday, September <br /> 25th at 9:00 am. Due to a conflict it was rescheduled to Saturday, October 2nd <br /> at 9:00 am. Due to the cold weather it was canceled and will be rescheduled for <br /> next spring. <br /> We will advise you when the next meeting will be. <br />
