Darkness became an issue towards the end of the
evening.
•
The following are some suggestions, or conversations noted:
• Remove or replace the grills at Groveland
• Repair fence at Hillview
• Article in the Mounds View Matters regarding the new paths
• Basketball court at Oakwood
• Visit St. Anthony park system. They have revamped their parks. It may be a
good idea to have a representative attend a P & R Commission meeting.
• Graffiti/vandalism is an issue in parks
• Replacement of park shelters with brick buildings
• Park update and residential watch request in MV Matters
• Addition of sideline fences at Lambert
next
We will continue discussion on the park visit and long range planning at our n e
meeting.
Staff informed the Commission of the upcoming Y Partners campaign, which is an
annual fundraising campaign to raise money for kids and families in Mounds View.
Pledge cards will be available at the next regular meeting.
The Showers and changing rooms was approved by the Council and work with the
• architect is underway.
