• MOUNDS VIEW <br /> Community Center/Parks & Recreation <br /> August, 1999 <br /> Showers/Changing space: <br /> The following is model information from two community facilities and the YMCA of <br /> Greater St. Paul (9 branch facilities). <br /> Brooklyn Center—Community Center <br /> • Supervisor on duty at all times. <br /> • Do not have designated locker room monitors. <br /> • Twice hourly, checks are made for safety, cleanliness, and possible trouble areas. <br /> • No towels are provided to public. <br /> • Pay lockers in lockerroom (decreases theft). <br /> • No food or drink are allowed in locker rooms. <br /> • Leads to pool area. <br /> • New Brighton—Family Service Center <br /> • Weekend and evening building manager <br /> • Circulates building and monitors gym <br /> • Do not have designated locker room monitors. <br /> • No formal checks have evolved. <br /> • Do not like location of theirs (by entrance) <br /> • Use other staff for different gender LR checks. <br /> YMCA <br /> • Evening and weekend building supervisors <br /> • Periodic LR checks during each shift. <br /> • Do not have designated locker room monitors. <br /> • Circulates building during shift. <br /> • Occassional additional staff when needed. <br />
