• <br /> 1991-1992 <br /> • SKATING RINK STATISTICS <br /> 1991 - 1992 SEASON <br /> The 1991-1992 skating rink season opened on December 21, 1991 and closed on <br /> February 21, 1992. The rinks were open for a total of 60 days, within an approximate 9 <br /> week time span. Three days (Jan. 8, Jan. 9, & Jan. 15) were closed due to poor weather <br /> conditions. <br /> ICE CONDITIONS <br /> Satisfactory ice conditions were experienced throughout most of the rink season. <br /> Tempartures ranging from extreme cold to very warm made flooding very difficult at <br /> times. <br /> RINK USE <br /> Rinks were open during regularly scheduled hours for drop-in skating. In addition, rinks <br /> were available for special reservations by individuals and groups. Listed below are the <br /> groups and individuals who reserved the rinks during the 1991-1992 season: <br /> • Northside Christian School - Hillview; February 3 & 5, 1992 (3 hours/day) <br /> Lake Region Hockey - Lambert; Practices & Games held throughout the rink season <br /> Individuals - Lambert & Hillview; broomball & pick-up hockey games <br /> (1.5 hours/use) <br /> In addition, the Mounds View Parks and Recreation Department held ice skating lessons <br /> on Tuesdays and Saturdays at Hillview ice rink from January 4 to February 11, 1992. <br /> Youth boot hockey, adult & student broomball leagues were offered, but were not held <br /> due to lack of registrations. <br /> RINK OPERATIONS COSTS: <br /> Rink attendants costs $3,956.50 <br /> Rink maintenance costs $7,421.52 <br /> Total $11,378.02 <br /> • <br />
