• DRAFT DRAFT DRAFT DRAFT DRAFT <br /> RAMSEY COUNTY PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br /> MINUTES <br /> JULY 21, 1992 <br /> The regular meeting of the Ramsey County Parks and Recreation Commission was called <br /> to order by Vice-Chairman Nolan at 10:15 a.m.,in the Small Conference Room, Ramsey <br /> County Board Office,316 Courthouse, 15 West Kellogg Boulevard,St. Paul, Minnesota. <br /> Members Present: Gary Botzek, Bernard Edmonds,Linda Ford, William Frank and Mark <br /> Nolan <br /> Members Absent: Robert Nethercut <br /> Staff Present: Greg Mack and Larry Holmberg <br /> Others Present: Julie Haugen <br /> • <br /> Approval of Agenda <br /> Mr. Nolan asked for a motion to approve the agenda. Mr. Edmonds requested that the <br /> agenda be amended to include an item on wetland mitigation projects within protection <br /> open space sites. Mr. Botzek moved,seconded by Mr. Edmonds,that the agenda be ap- <br /> proved as amended including WETLAND MITIGATION PROJECTS WITHIN PRO- <br /> TECTION OPEN SPACE SITES as item#7. Motion carried. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> Mr. Nolan asked for a motion to approve the minutes of June 9, 1992. Mr.Frank moved, <br /> seconded by Mr. Edmonds, that the minutes of June 9, 1992, be approved as mailed. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Ramsey County Parks and Recreation Comprehensive System Plan <br /> Mr. Mack distributed copies of the survey data gathered from representatives of munici- <br /> pal parks and recreation commissions within Ramsey County. In addition, he distributed <br /> summary reports of the surveys completed by the Ramsey County Parks and Recreation <br /> Commission. The Commission undertook a cursory review of this data,noting the simi- <br /> larity of perceptions between the two survey groups. The Commission also noted some <br /> areas of divergence.
