CM 01
Phone: (612) 784-3055
• EIE Uv22p Fax: (612) 784-3462
"Quite Simply the Best"
October 15, 1992
Dear Parks and Recreation Commissioners:
The regular Parks and Recreation Commission meeting will be held on Thursday,
October 22 at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers.
The most notable item on the agenda, I think, is a recommendation decision that the
Commission must made a decision on regarding what to do with extra monies available
in this year's budget due to the fact that Lambert Park playground was funded by a
grant. I wish to offer some possible recommendations to be discussed. If we don't have
our recommendations brought to the City Council, we will loose the money after the
• first of the year. We need to act on this at this meeting, before it is too late.
Otherwise, the agenda is pretty light. I will update you on the RSCC, as we need to
prepare for a public information meeting for the January meeting.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, please call and notify me at 784-3055 ext. 20.
As I write this letter, the MEA Kid's Garage Sale is being held in the lower level
community center here at City Hall. It is fun watching these business-like youth in
action. Plus, I got my holiday shopping all done! ha
Sincerely,
Mary aarion, Director
Parks, Recreation and Forestry •
el PRINTED WITH
SOY INK 2401 Highway 10 • Mounds View, MN 55112-1499
recydea caaw
