RESOLUTION NO.9764 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />WAIVING CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW PURCHASING POLICY, SECTION 2.3; INTERMEDIATE <br />PURCHASES, RELATED TO RAMSEY COUNTY CRITICAL CORRIDOR GRANT(S) <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey County Housing and Redevelopment Authority has awarded the <br />City of Mounds View Critical Corridor grants, including; (1) Mounds View Square Concept Plan <br />($50,000); and (2) Mounds View Boulevard Design Theme ($21,900); and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View Purchasing Policy, Section 2.3 (Intermediate <br />Purchases) required the City to solicit multiple bids for purchases between $25,000 and $175,000; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, Staff is requesting this policy be waived to allow the City to solicit bids from <br />one professional services consultant to work on both grant projects, not to exceed $55,400. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED THAT the City of Mounds View <br />Purchasing Policy, Section 2.3 (Intermediate Purchases) be waived, related to contracting for <br />professional services to complete Critical Corridor grants for the Mounds View Square concept <br />plan, and Mounds View Boulevard corridor study. <br />Adopted this 12th Day of June, 2023 <br />Gary Veehlhacting Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />'A <br />Brian Bee n, Acting City Administrator <br />(SEAL) <br />
