Cooler weather, Harvest moons, shorter daylight hours, changing colors, <br /> pumpkins, carmel apples are all signs of Autumn and signs that winter is coming. We need to <br /> enjoy the out-of- doors as much as possible during these beautiful Autumn days. <br /> We will be enjoying Random Park during our regular meeting Thursday, September 26. We are <br /> hosting an "Introduction to the new Playground" at Random Park beginning at 6:30 p.m. We will <br /> have warm cider, cookies and animal crackers for all those that come to the Grand Opening of the <br /> new playground. As I write this letter the timbering work is being done. The carpets in the <br /> building are being cleaned tomorrow. The old overgrown bushes will be replaced with smaller <br /> • landscaping plants. The park will hopefully be all "spruced" up for the meeting. So, remember to <br /> meet at Random Park at 6:30 p.m. Bring you family and friends. We will meet briefly at 7:30 <br /> p.m. at Random Park building for the meeting. Staff will advertise the grand opening through <br /> flyers to the neighborhood as well as sending flyers to all preschool participants. I will need your <br /> help in serving the cider and cookies. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony with all of you <br /> participating in the ribbon cutting. It should be a good time. <br /> If you are unable to attend the meeting, please call me at 784-0618.
