RESOLUTION 9781 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE STORM WATER ASSESSMENT FROM <br />STANTEC ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR <br />WHEREAS, the City has the responsibility to efficiently operate the storm water <br />system; and <br />WHEREAS, In 2021, the City Council reviewed the Storm water system and <br />approved the Request for Proposal (RFP) that would assess the overall operational <br />functionality of our system for the precise purpose of development of a capital and <br />maintenance plan (CIP) for the next decade — or longer; and <br />WHEREAS, Stantec has completed the surveys and assessments of the City's <br />Storm Water Ponds; and <br />WHEREAS, final report has provided the City with a priority list for needed <br />maintenance for ponds and ponds that will need dredging, the list of recommendations <br />also provides time lines and estimated costs for these improvements. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. Approves the final report from Stantec Engineering Services for the Storm <br />Water Assessment. <br />2. Funded from the Storm Water Department 2023 adopted budget account 745- <br />4415-3030. <br />3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute all appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by <br />this resolution. <br />4. The Mayor and City Administrator, Staff and consultants are hereby <br />authorized and directed to take any and all additional steps and actions <br />necessary or convenient in order to accomplish the intent of this Resolution. <br />The Mounds View Vision <br />.4 Thriving Desirable Conitnunity <br />
