Mounds View City Council June 26, 2023 <br />Regular Meeting Page 9 <br />1 Maxx Bar and Grill to Sell and Serve Alcoholic Beverages at the 2023 Festival <br />2 in the Park. <br />3 <br />4 City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council approve a Temporary On -Sale Intoxicating <br />5 Liquor License for Festival in the Park of Mounds View to allow Maxx Bar and Grill to sell and <br />6 serve alcoholic beverages at the 2023 Festival in the Park. He reported Maxx Bar and Grill has <br />7 provided this service in the past and State law requires the City to grant this temporary permit. <br />s <br />9 Acting Mayor Meehlhause opened the public hearing at 7:48 p.m. <br />10 <br />1 1 Carol Mueller, 8343 Groveland Road, stated she was a representative of the Festival in the Park <br />12 Committee. She requested the Council approve the temporary on -sale intoxicating liquor license. <br />13 She commented further on the events being planned for this year's festival, which would be held <br />14 on Friday, August 18 and Saturday, August 19. <br />15 <br />16 Hearing no further public input, Acting Mayor Meehlhause closed the public hearing at 7:53 p.m. <br />17 <br />18 MOTION/SECOND: Lindstrom/Gunn. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9773, <br />19 Approving a Temporary On -Sale Intoxicating Liquor License for Festival in the Park of Mounds <br />20 View to allow Maxx Bar and Grill to Sell and Serve Alcoholic Beverages at the 2023 Festival in <br />21 the Park. <br />22 <br />23 Ayes — 4 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />24 <br />25 B. Resolution 9758, Approving Purchase of Cloud Storage for the Police <br />26 Department Video Evidence Library. <br />27 <br />28 Police Chief Zender requested the Council approve the purchase of Cloud and Watch Guard <br />29 storage for the Police Department Video Evidence Library. He explained this matter was discussed <br />30 at the June 5 work session meeting noting the existing Cloud and Watch Guard system was out of <br />31 warranty and needs to be replaced. He commented on how the storage needs to be upgraded before <br />32 the department can purchase new body cameras. <br />33 <br />34 Council Member Lindstrom asked what the City pays for server technology at this time. Finance <br />35 Director Beer reported the City pays about $8,500. He noted the Cloud and Watch Guard storage <br />36 would be a better more reliable system. <br />37 <br />38 MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Lindstrom.
