The flood pool, or <br />live storage/WQ volume, is the volume between the outlet and the overflow point. The basins were <br />evaluated for sediment deposition by comparing the existing permanent pool volume to the estimated <br />original permanent pool volume. Differences in depths to sediment and refusal gathered from field data <br />allowed for a surface difference TIN to be produced showing accumulated sediment within the pond. <br />Figure 2-6 shows an example accumulated sediment map for a pond in the City. Accumulated sediment <br />maps for all ponds surveyed are contained in Appendix B. <br />12 <br />
