Resolution No. <br />Page 2 <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the City Council identifies the following priorities to <br />guide such negotiations: <br />1. Zone Creation — the City seeks a proposal that is designed to reduce traffic on <br />roadways through zone creation and other measures. <br />2. Safety — the City seeks a proposal that describes the safety protocols that will be <br />in place for employees and the public. <br />3. Environmental Performance — the City seeks a proposal that will have a reduced <br />impact on the environment. <br />4. Services — the City seeks a proposal that will identify which services will be <br />included in the base price which must include: <br />a. Every -other -week service for garbage and recycling. <br />b. Weekly service option for garbage <br />c. Service to residences with between one and four dwelling units. <br />d. Option to add organics. <br />e. Bulky items <br />f. Educational tagging. <br />g. Billing <br />5. Price — the City seeks a proposal that will be consistent with services provided in <br />nearby cities for base price and price for additional services. The City seeks pricing <br />for additional services including: <br />a. Walk up collection <br />b. Suspension of services. <br />c. Opting in to services <br />d. Opting out of services <br />e. Extra trash bags <br />f.
