MOUNDSIVIEW Trailways System Master Plan— DRAFT 8C <br /> Priorities <br /> The following are identified as priorities based on needed completion of a key existing trailway routes per the Detail Plan <br /> section herein: <br /> • Mounds View BLVD— Gap: Unpaved sections west of Groveland Rd to west city boarder. Completion of these remaining <br /> stretches will fully link neighborhoods, civic sites, commercial sites and multiple senior and assisted living facilities within <br /> the and City <br /> • Long Lake Road — Gaps: North end west from Eastwood Dr. to Groveland Rd has no controlled walk/bike features. No <br /> road striping between Co Rd H2 to Co Rd I. Completion of these sections provides a continuous south-to-north trailway on <br /> this route <br /> • Co Rd H — Gap: No south side walkway from Silver Lake Rd to Edgewood Dr. This stretch supports access to Edgewood, <br /> Irondale and Sunnyside schools located on both sides of Co Rd H. No controlled walk/bike features from Old Hwy 8 to east <br /> end (35W) and to TCAAP <br /> • Co Rd I - Gap: No on street striped biking lanes requiring bikes to use sidewalks. Sidewalk only on south side from Silver <br /> Lake Road to Long Lake Road crossing MV BLVD. This stretch supports access to Silver View Park, multiple senior and <br /> assisted living facilities and commercial sites <br /> • <br /> Beyond these priorities, implementation, completion, repair and/or maintenance of trailways should be coordinated when <br /> possible with other City or County infrastructure projects. <br />
