Resolution 1152-22, Recommending Approval of the Preliminary and Final <br />Plat of "Stellmaker Addition" <br />Community Development Director Sevald stated the applicants, Tanya and Ryan Stellmaker, live <br />at 7280 Hidden Hollow Court, which backs up to 3024 County Road H2. The Stellmaker's <br />purchased the home on County Road H2 with the intention of adjusting the property line to make <br />their home's backyard larger. No new lots will be created. Staff commented further on the <br />request and recommended the Planning Commission recommend approval of the Preliminary <br />and Final Plat for the "Stellmaker Addition" as requested. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Commissioner Stevenson/Commissioner Nelson. To approve Resolution <br />1152-22, a Resolution Recommending Approval of a Preliminary and Final Plat of "Stellmaker <br />Addition" at 7280 Hidden Hollow Court. <br />Ayes — 6 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />B. Resolution 1153-22, Recommending Approval of a Conditional Use Permit <br />for Abiding Savior at 8211 Red Oak Drive <br />Community Development Director Sevald stated Abiding Savior, 8211 Red Oak Drive, has two <br />ground signs, one on the northwest corner, and the other along Red Oak Drive. The second sign <br />is proposed to be replaced. Multiple grounds signs are permitted on lots abutting multiple streets, <br />although the cumulative sign area is limited to the combined allowable size (e.g. 100 sq ft divide <br />between two ground signs). Dynamic Signs cannot flash, blink, or resemble traffic signs or <br />create a traffic hazard. The sign must include an ambient light monitor able to adjust the <br />brightness between daytime and nighttime. The sign shall display its message for a minimum of <br />eight seconds. The sign shall only advertise information and activities that are located on the <br />premises (e.g. cannot advertise community events not held on the property). Staff commented <br />further on the request and recommended approval of the Conditional Use Permit as requested. <br />Commissioner Stevenson asked how this request differed from Messiah Lutheran Church <br />request.
