RESOLUTION NO. 9808 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CHICKEN -KEEPING LICENSE FOR <br />SAIF ALNABI, 7624 SPRING LAKE ROAD <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Code, Chapter 90.005, allows limited and <br />controlled raising and keeping of chickens and/or ducks on properties zoned R-1, Single <br />Family Residential; and <br />WHEREAS, Saif Alnabi has submitted an application, with an approved site plan, <br />and the appropriate fees to keep and raise chickens on his property located at 7624 <br />Spring Lake Road; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff has reviewed the application and it appears to meet all <br />requirements set forth in Chapter 90.005; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 90.005, initial applications shall be <br />considered by the City Council after holding a public hearing, which was held October 9, <br />2023. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve a Chicken -Keeping License for Saif Alnabi, 7624 Spring Lake Road, for <br />no more than 12 chickens or 12 ducks or a combination of both; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this license may be revoked or denied by the <br />City Council based on negligence, nuisance, or violation Chapter 90.005. <br />BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that this license will expire December 31, 2024. <br />Adopted this 9t" day of October, 2023. <br />Gary e Iha se, Acting Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Nyle 7/kmunfi, City Administrator <br />(So ai) <br />The Mounds View Vision <br />A Thrivin Desirable Communi(v <br />
