Assistant City <br />3 Administrator Beeman stated he believed this was the case. <br />4 <br />5 Council Member Gunn stated she was happy to see Apple Tree Dental would be adding more <br />6 parking for their employees. <br />7 <br />8 Acting Mayor Meehlhause opened the public hearing at 6:26 p.m. <br />9 <br />10 Sharon Kirscher, 8406 Red Oak Drive, asked where the parking lot would be located. <br />11 <br />12 Acting Mayor Meehlhause reviewed the location of the additional parking spaces, noting it would <br />13 be to the right of the entrance. <br />14 <br />15 Hearing no further public input, Acting Mayor Meehlhause closed the public hearing at 6:28 p.m. <br />16 <br />17 MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Cermak. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9810, <br />18 Approving an Amendment to the O'Neil Property Planned Unit Development for a 20 car parking <br />19 lot at 2442 Mounds View Boulevard. <br />20 <br />21 Ayes — 3 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />22 <br />23 E. PUBLIC HEARING: Resolution 9812, Adopting a Special Assessment Levy <br />24 for Unpaid Diseased Tree Charges. <br />25 <br />26 Finance Director Bauman requested the Council adopt a special assessment levy for unpaid <br />27 diseased tree charges. <br />28 <br />29 Acting Mayor Meehlhause asked why there were two separate lists. Finance Director Bauman <br />30 explained assessments under $1,000 were a one year assessment and assessments over $1,000 were <br />31 a three year assessment. <br />32 <br />33 Acting Mayor Meehlhause opened the public hearing at 6:29 p.m. <br />34 <br />35 Sharon Kirscher, 8406 Red Oak Drive, asked if the City had a vendor to assist with tree removals. <br />36 City Administrator Zikmund explained the vendor the City had selected notified the City that he <br />37 would no longer be fulfilling the contract. He reported the City has terminated this contract and <br />38 would be going to the second vendor on the list. <br />39 <br />40 Hearing no public input, Acting Mayor Meehlhause closed the public hearing at 6:31 p.m. <br />41 <br />42 MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Cermak.
