Mounds View PD Reserve Officer Unit 2023 Quarter 3 Report <br />During the third quarter of 2023, Reserve Officers volunteered a total of 130 hours while <br />on patrol. Reserve Officers completed sixty-nine proactive patrols, one traffic/accident <br />assist, one lockout, one medical assist and transported five people to jail. Reserve <br />Officer Overton was trained in how to use/transport the Mounds View PD radar trailer. <br />Reserve Officer's Overton, Hepola and Traczyk assisted the New Brighton Department <br />of Public Safety with the Stockyard Days Parade. In addition to helping in New Brighton, <br />Reserve Officers helped with several rock wall events, Festival in the Park, the Mounds <br />View Parade, and Night to Unite. <br />Sgt. Hanson worked with Human Resources on preparing and updating the "Police <br />Reserves" page on the City of Mounds View Website. Sgt. Hanson is in the beginning <br />stages with someone interested in becoming a reserve. An interview and background <br />will be conducted in October. <br />
