He anticipated the City would have an even more difficult time 1 <br />getting the residents to support $50 million. 2 <br /> 3 <br />Council Member Meehlhause stated he supported Mayor Lindstrom’s recommendation to create a 4 <br />task force next spring to revisit the Community Center. 5 <br /> 6 <br />City Administrator Zikmund reported the City has pulled its bonding request, which meant this 7 <br />project was dead and the initiatives of the lobbyists were done. 8 <br /> 9 <br />B. December 25/26, 2023 Meeting. 10 <br /> 11 <br />City Administrator Zikmund asked if the Council wanted to hold the December 26 City Council 12 <br />meeting. The Council consensus was to not meet on December 26. 13 <br /> 14 <br />C. Reports of Mayor and Council. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Council Member Gunn reported the Lion’s would be holding a Christmas light contest again this 17 <br />year. 18 <br /> 19 <br />Council Member Cermak explained the Mounds View Police Foundation would be meeting next 20 <br />on Tuesday, November 14 at 5:30 p.m. at Hodges Park. She noted volunteers were needed to assist 21 <br />with Shop with a Cop. 22 <br /> 23 <br />Council Member Gunn stated Abiding Savior Church would be hosting a viewing event for the 24 <br />Santa Parade. She encouraged residents to bring a bag of non-perishable goods for the Ralph 25 <br />Reeder Food Shelf. 26 <br /> 27 <br />Council Member Meehlhause explained he would be attending a Northeast Youth and Family 28 <br />Services Finance Committee meeting on Wednesday, November 15. 29 <br /> 30 <br />Mayor Lindstrom reported the Festival in the Park Committee would be meeting next on Tuesday, 31 <br />November 28 at 6:30 p.m. at the Public Works building. 32 <br /> 33 <br />Mayor Lindstrom explained he attended an eight cities meeting today where he heard what was 34 <br />happening at the cities surrounding Mounds View. He indicated the main topic of discussion was 35 <br />the redevelopment of the TCAAP property. 36 <br /> 37 <br /> D. Reports of Staff. 38 <br /> 39 <br />Finance Director Bauman provided the Council with an update on conduit debt financing and 40 <br />reported the St. Joseph’s Point request has been put on pause. 41 <br /> 42 <br />Finance Director Bauman explained the City’s Truth in Taxation Hearing would be held on 43 <br />Monday, December 4. 44 <br /> 45
