I <br />have read and understand the Tennessean Warning and certify that the statements in this application are true and correct to the best of my <br />knowledge: <br />Applicant Signature <br />Gary Stevenson <br />Date <br />09/16/2023 <br />Format: MM/DD/YYYY <br />The City of Mounds View is committed to the policy that all persons shall have access to its programs, facilities and employment without regard for <br />race, ethnicity, gender, age or physical abilities. <br />Economic Development Commission <br />The EDC is an advisory commission to the EDA consisting of seven members, (four resident representatives of Mounds View and three business <br />representatives). While the commission doesn't have the authority to take action, it serves as a sounding board for the EDA. Examples of <br />commission projects are economic development marketing/branding initiatives, brainstorming ideas for redevelopment sites, reviewing <br />financing and economic development policies, hearing from speakers on hearing economic development updates & issues affecting Mounds <br />View, and setting annual priorities as it relates to assisting the EDA's initiatives. <br />Planning Commission <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission provides recommendations to the City Council on Planning Applications, such as subdivisions, conditional <br />use permits, and ordinance amendments. The Commission, acting as the Board of Adjustments, has authority to approve Variances. <br />Parks, Recreation and Forestry Commission <br />The Parks, Recreation and Forestry Commission provides recommendations to the City Council for the development and improvement of parks <br />within the City. The Commission also makes recommendations to the City on all matters affecting Parks and Recreation programs. <br />Police Advisory Commission <br />The Police Advisory Commission assists and advises the City Council and the Police Department with enhancing awareness of Police Department <br />capabilities and services; provides an opportunity for citizen involvement in police services; and encourages positive exchange between the <br />Police Department and the community. <br />Sustainability Committee <br />The Sustainability Committee will review the sustainability on all City Infrastructure: Water, Sewer, Storm Water, Streets with the focus and <br />passion on the Environmental aspect. <br />https://moundsviewmn.rja.revize.com/reports/388940 2/2 <br />
