Mounds View Planning Commission June 21, 2023 <br />Regular Meeting Page 3 <br />________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br /> <br />Commissioner Munson asked if ADU’s would have the same address as the principle structure. <br />Community Development Director Sevald reported ADU’s would have to have a separate <br />address and mailbox, such as 2401 #A and 2401 #B <br /> <br />Commissioner Farmer inquired how much it cost the City to change City Code. Community <br />Development Director Sevald explained this depended on the amount of language that was being <br />changed. He noted this proposed change was quite simple. <br /> <br />Commissioner Munson indicated her main concern was with the resale of properties that have <br />ADU’s. <br /> <br />Commissioner Nelson stated he could support the proposed change because it would give the <br />small segment of the population that wanted to pursue an ADU an option. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Commissioner Nelson/Commissioner Stevenson. To approve Resolution <br />1161-23, a Resolution Recommending Approval of Ordinance 1004, Amending Mounds View <br />City Code 160.088 related to Accessory Dwelling Units. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 6 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />6.
