Mounds View City Council January 2, 2024 <br />Special Meeting Page 3 <br />1 the alternate for Metro Cities, North Metro Mayors and for the League of Minnesota Cities. <br />2 <br />3 Council Member Meehlhause explained all Council members could attend the Mounds View <br />4 Business Council meetings. <br />5 <br />6 Mayor Lindstrom indicated he was willing to serve on the Mounds View Development Review <br />7 Committee. <br />8 <br />9 Council Member Gunn stated she would also be willing to serve on the Mounds View <br />10 Development Review Committee and noted she would continue her service on the Cable <br />11 Commission. She explained the finance director has served as her alternate in the past. City <br />12 Administrator Zikmund reported the alternate could be changed at any time. <br />13 <br />14 Council Member Cermak reported she could serve as the liaison to the Festival in the Park <br />15 Committee. <br />16 <br />17 Mayor Lindstrom stated City Administrator Zikmund would continue serving as the NYFS <br />18 representative. <br />19 <br />20 Council Member Gunn explained she would be willing to serve on the HR Committee. <br />21 <br />22 Council Member Meehlhause indicated he would be willing to serve on the HR Committee as well. <br />23 <br />24 Council Member Meehlhause stated he would be willing to continue his service with the Twin <br />25 Cities Gateway Tourism Board. <br />26 <br />27 Council Member Cermak explained she would continue her service on the Mounds View Police <br />28 Foundation and the Fire Protection Board. <br />29 <br />30 Council Member Meehlhause stated he would continue his service as the Council liaison to the <br />31 City's commissions and committees. <br />32 <br />33 Mayor Lindstrom indicated he would be willing to serve as the alternate. <br />34 <br />35 Council Member Gunn indicated she would be willing to continue her service on the Tribute Park <br />36 Committee. <br />37 <br />38 The Council further discussed the makeup and structure of the Human Rights Task Force. Council <br />39 Member Gunn stated she would be willing to serve as the liaison for this group. <br />40 <br />41 Mayor Lindstrom asked how the Council wanted to proceed with the MAC Advisory Commission <br />42 appointment. <br />43 <br />44 Council Member Gunn stated she would be willing to serve as the representative for this <br />45 committee. <br />46 <br />
