Mounds View City Council January 2, 2024 <br />Special Meeting Page 3 <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom suggested staff strike off Councilmember and have the Acting Mayor serve as <br />the alternate for Metro Cities, North Metro Mayors and for the League of Minnesota Cities. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause explained all Council members could attend the Mounds View <br />Business Council meetings. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom indicated he was willing to serve on the Mounds View Development Review <br />Committee. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn stated she would also be willing to serve on the Mounds View <br />Development Review Committee and noted she would continue her service on the Cable <br />Commission. She explained the finance director has served as her alternate in the past. City <br />Administrator Zikmund reported the alternate could be changed at any time. <br /> <br />Council Member Cermak reported she could serve as the liaison to the Festival in the Park <br />Committee. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom stated City Administrator Zikmund would continue serving as the NYFS <br />representative. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn explained she would be willing to serve on the HR Committee. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause indicated he would be willing to serve on the HR Committee as well. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause stated he would be willing to continue his service with the Twin <br />Cities Gateway Tourism Board. <br /> <br />Council Member Cermak explained she would continue her service on the Mounds View Police <br />Foundation and the Fire Protection Board. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause stated he would continue his service as the Council liaison to the <br />City’s commissions and committees. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom indicated he would be willing to serve as the alternate. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn indicated she would be willing to continue her service on the Tribute Park <br />Committee. <br /> <br />The Council further discussed the makeup and structure of the Human Rights Task Force. Council <br />Member Gunn stated she would be willing to serve as the liaison for this group. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom asked how the Council wanted to proceed with the MAC Advisory Commission <br />appointment. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn stated she would be willing to serve as the representative for this
