RESOLUTION NO. 9877 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF ONE POLICE ADMINISTRATIVE VEHICLE <br />ALONG WITH ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT AND SETUP COSTS <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department maintains a replacement <br />schedule of police vehicles to ensure that the police department can provide reliable <br />quality service to the community with a dependable fleet of police vehicles, and; <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department planned and budgeted for the <br />replacement of one administrative vehicle in 2024; <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department is in immediate need to <br />replace one administrative vehicle, <br />WHEREAS, Saxon Fleet Services has the state bid for a Hyundai Sonata vehicle <br />available at $28,580.00 with additional equipment and set up cost at approximately <br />$6,350.00. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota to authorize the purchase of one 2024 <br />Hyundai Sonata administrative vehicle at an approximate cost of $28,580.00 plus <br />additional equipment and setup costs of approximately $6,350.32 each for a total <br />expense of $34,930.32 in the 2024 budget funded from Account 460-4200-7040. <br />Adopted this 26t" day of February 2024. <br />Zach Lindstrom, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Nyle Zikmund, City Administrator <br />(seal) <br />
