The results of the mass balance exercise indicate that the majority of the phosphorus load is <br />derived from the surrounding watershed (66% of the total load), followed by internal loading (34%). The <br />areal load from oxic release (26%) was greater than the areal load from anoxic release (8%). <br />Table 6.
