The following sections <br />describe the activities anticipated for vegetation restoration and maintenance around the ponds. The <br />activities are most effective when integrated. For example, invasive plant control should be combined with <br />seeding/planting to replace the invasive plant cover with desirable vegetation. Additionally, some of the <br />activities such as invasive shrub control and herbaceous weed control will require multiple treatments <br />over several years. The cost estimates provided in Section 4.2 anticipate the need for multiple treatments <br />during an initial 3 years of more intense vegetation restoration effort. <br />Project Number: 193806465 19 <br />
