Mounds View City Council March 11, 2024 <br />Regular Meeting Page 10 <br />1 Mayor Lindstrom stated on Wednesday, March 13 he would be having a conversation with the <br />2 City Administrator and Commissioner Frethem to discuss the City's library. <br />3 <br />4 Mayor Lindstrom explained the options committee would be meeting on Wednesday, March 20. <br />5 <br />6 Mayor Lindstrom reported he would be attending the Met Council's regional conference on Friday, <br />7 March 22. <br />8 <br />9 B. Reports of Staff. <br />10 <br />11 Finance Director Bauman stated the $21 million conduit debt issuance that began last year would <br />12 be moving ahead in the next few months. <br />13 <br />14 Finance Director Bauman reported work continues on the 2023 audit. <br />15 <br />16 Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson discussed the meter change out project that <br />17 would begin in the coming weeks. He encouraged residents to test out their shut off valves and to <br />18 clear the area surrounding their water meters. <br />19 <br />20 City Administrator Zikmund stated the City would be posting information regarding sewer line <br />21 insurance, noting the City has no association with these organizations. <br />22 <br />23 City Administrator Zikmund reported the Council tried to attend the legislative day on the hill for <br />24 the League of Minnesota Hills where a letter was presented to Representative Muller and Senator <br />25 Marty on the missing in the middle bill. He commented this bill would allow property owners to <br />26 put up to 10 houses on a Mounds View lot and prohibits any public comment.
