RESOLUTION 9914 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA APPROVING THE EVALUATION OF THE CITY STORM WATER PONDS LOCATED ON SILVER LAKE ROAD AND WOODCREST DRIVE, SC-2.P1 AND SC-2.P2, BY STANTEC ENGINEERING SERVICES WHEREAS, the City has the responsibility to efficiently operate the storm water system; and WHEREAS, the City Council Approved Resolution 9544 approving the proposal from Stantec Engineering Services to Complete an overall Storm Water Pond assessment in 2021; and WHEREAS, the City Council further approved Resolution 9783 and 9784 authorizing Stantec to complete the assessments on the Ardan Park, AA-1.P1 and AA-1-.P2; and Stantec has completed the surveys and assessments of the City's Storm Water Ponds; and WHEREAS, The overall Storm Water Assessment Plan, provided by Stantec has the following Storm Water Ponds SC-2.P1 and SC-2.P2 listed next for assessment; and WHEREAS, Stantec has provided a cost proposal at a cost of $106,000.00 to include the following tasks in assessing these storm water ponds. Project Management Data collection Public Engagement Permits Upland Vegetation Management Plan Design and Construction WHEREAS, Staff recommends the City Council approve the attached resolution approving the evaluation of City Storm Water Ponds, SC-2.P1 and SC-2.P2, by Stantec Engineering Services as cost of $106,000.00 to be funded a the final Storm Water Fund account 745-4415-750 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: 1. Approves the final proposal from Stantec Engineering Services for the Assessment of Storm Water Storm Water Ponds SC-2.P1 and SC-2.P2 at a cost of $106,000.00. 2. Funded from the Storm Water Department 2024 adopted budget account 745-4415- 7050. 3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to execute all appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by this resolution.
