D. Review— Parks Capital Project Plan 2024-Remove HML priorities and reevaluate, add <br /> some ideas, and later meet with WSB, potentially, to compare ideas. <br /> 9. NEW BUSINESS <br /> A. Eagle Scout— Bluebird Houses (Moved up to Item 7) <br /> B. Park Master Plan-City Council will decide contract with WSB at March 11 meeting. <br /> Commission is invited to attend. <br /> C. Silver View Park Storm Water Pond- Draft Upland Management Plan-Representative from <br /> Stantec Services presented their findings. See attached report. A second Public Meeting <br /> will be held at the City Council Meeting on March 11, 2024. <br /> D. Inclusive Playground Options at Hillview: Refurbish would be $51K, National Demonstration <br /> Conference offer at Hillview as a replacement cost $260K-includes removing wood chips <br /> and installing rubber base. To install at City Hall as an addition would cost $238K (NOT <br /> including concrete border). Commissioners are struggling with the functionality of this <br /> equipment based on the pictures and elements, for people with disabilities that may make <br /> use of this. If there was a video that showcased the elements, that would be helpful. <br /> However, we do like the possibility that an inclusive playground could fit into the footprint of <br /> Hillview Park. Be sure we <br /> 10. COMMISSIONER REPORTS: Irondale High School Robotics Team 2052 KnightKrawler will be <br /> hosting Week Zero on Saturday. Event is FREE. Concessions and raffle items with a value of <br /> $3000 will be on site. Bring your family to see cool kids do cool things with cool robots from 9-4. <br /> 11. REQUESTS FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS /OTHER BUSINESS: Literacy Trail? How can <br /> we promote using the ice rink areas for a "dog park?" Where are we with a Community <br /> Garden? <br /> 12.
