RESOLUTION NO. 9902 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CHICKEN -KEEPING LICENSE FOR <br />PETER WESTON MILLER, 2933 COUNTY ROAD H2 <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Code, Chapter 90.005, allows limited and <br />controlled raising and keeping of chickens and/or ducks on properties zoned R-1, Single <br />Family Residential; and <br />WHEREAS, Peter Weston Miller has submitted an application and the appropriate <br />fees to keep and raise chickens on his property located at 2933 County Road 1­12; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff has reviewed the application and it meets all requirements set <br />forth in Chapter 90.005; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 90.005, initial applications shall be <br />considered by the City Council after holding a public hearing, which was held April 22, <br />2024. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve a Chicken -Keeping License for Peter Weston Miller, 2933 County Road <br />H2, for no more than 12 chickens or 12 ducks or a combination of both; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the license may be revoked or denied by the <br />City Council based on negligence, nuisance, or violation Chapter 90.005. <br />BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the license will expire December 31, 2024, and <br />shall be renewed annually. <br />Adopted this 22nd day of April, 2024. <br />ach Lindstrom, Mayor <br />t <br />ATTEST: <br />Brian Beepigh, Acting City Administrator <br />(Seat) <br />The'Mounds View Visiou <br />
