Mounds View City Council April 22, 2024 <br />Regular Meeting Page 9 <br />1 Council Member Gunn explained on Wednesday, April 24 she would be attending the Metro Cities <br />2 annual meeting in Roseville. <br />3 <br />4 Council Member Gunn commented on the meeting that would be held on Tuesday, April 23 at <br />5 6:00 p.m. at the Spring Lake Park High School regarding the closing of different functions within <br />6 the Unity/Mercy Hospitals. She stated she would try to attend this meeting. <br />7 <br />8 Council Member Gunn reported she would be attending a Cable Commission meeting on <br />9 Thursday, April 25. <br />10 <br />1 1 Council Member Meehlhause indicated he would be attending the CPY Luncheon on Tuesday, <br />12 April 23. <br />13 <br />14 Mayor Lindstrom, Council Member Cermak and Council Member Clark reported they would also <br />15 be attending the CPY Luncheon. <br />16 <br />17 Council Member Cermak explained she would be attending an Anoka County Fire Board meeting <br />18 on Thursday, April 25. <br />19 <br />20 Council Member Cermak stated on Tuesday, April 30 at 9:00 a.m. she and the Mayor would be <br />21 attending a City/County/School District collaboration meeting at the Community Center. <br />22 <br />23 Council Member Clark reported the Festival in the Park would be holding a fundraiser on <br />24 Thursday, May 2 at Red Robin in Shoreview. She stated the Festival in the Park Committee would <br />25 meet next on Tuesday, May 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Center. <br />26 <br />27 Mayor Lindstrom explained he attended the Earth Day cleanup at Silver View Park on Sunday, <br />28 April 21. <br />29 <br />30 Mayor Lindstrom commented on the training he would be attending in June for the Pardon <br />31 Committee for the State. <br />32 <br />33 B. Reports of Staff. <br />34 <br />35 Assistant City Administrator Beeman reported the Council would be holding an EDA meeting <br />36 after this meeting adjourns. <br />37 <br />38 Finance Director Bauman stated staff would be receiving a draft of the 2023 audit this week and a <br />39 presentation on the audit would be made to Council on May 13. <br />40 <br />41 Finance Director Bauman commented on the new water, sewer and storm sewer rates that were <br />42 being charged for the first quarter of the utility bills. <br />43 <br />44 C. Reports of City Attorney. <br />45 <br />46 City Attorney Riggs had nothing additional to report. <br />
