Mounds View PD Reserve Unit 2024 Quarter 1 Report <br />Reserve Officers volunteered a total of one hundred twenty-five (125) hours in the first <br />quarter of 2024. This is up over fifty hours from quarter one in 2023. Reserve Officer <br />Mark Walker suffered an off -duty injury and is unable to work as a Reserve Officer for <br />several months, up to a year. <br />During the first quarter of 2024, Reserve Officers completed many hours of proactive <br />patrol, four (4) jail transports, assisted on four (4) medical emergencies, one (1) fire call, <br />gathered evidence from Regions Hospital and were role players for MVPD Officers. <br />Reserve Officer Overton and Traczyk helped Officer Torres as role players, during <br />scenarios of building searches, mental health calls and domestic violence situations. <br />Reserve Officer Traczyk was used as a role player during MVPD's annual Taser and <br />LLIM training. In addition, Reserve Officer Overton interviewed Sgt. Knitter for a LAWE <br />related school assignment. <br />
