Parks and Recreation Minutes <br />Page 3 <br />June 4, 1981 <br />• SILVER VIEW (cont.) Consultant Tushie indicated that this would be a costlier <br />process than just initial grading. <br />Following the question and answer period, Commissioner <br />Linke moved seconded by Commissioner Bowman to approve <br />the plans and specifications as presented for Phase One <br />development of Silver View Park. The motion passed <br />unanimously. <br />7 ayes <br />0 nayes <br />SILVER LAKE WOODS Planning Commission Chairperson Peg Mountain and Building <br />and Zoning Official Rose were requested to attend the <br />Park Commission meeting to respond to their concerns. <br />Building and Zoning Official Rose outlined the City <br />Council and Planning Commission action to date on the <br />Silver Lake Woods P.U.D. Following Building and Zoning <br />Offical Rose's presentation the Park Commission asked <br />• a number of questions. <br />General facts relating to the project are as follows: <br />40 single family homes <br />120 town houses <br />'1.65 million estimated costs for utility <br />development <br />'Utility costs will all be assessed back to <br />property owners. <br />'Complete development scheduled for 1986. <br />A motion was made by Chairperson Burmeister, seconded by <br />Commissioner Silvis to make the following recommendations <br />to the City Council and Planning Commission: <br />1. An additional access be designated from the <br />townhouse development to the park trail system based <br />• on the pretense that one controlled acces point would <br />be better than a myriad of entry points. <br />
