Will only pass if there is a strong grass <br />roots effort. <br />4. General consensus was that we should go for <br />a second referendum. <br />5. A park maintenance addendum should be added. <br />The Commission then directed staff to forward a survey <br />to the Task Force members regarding the final details <br />of money, projects, date, etc. <br />Commissioner Burmeister thanked each of the Task Force <br />members on behalf of the Commission for their extra <br />effort and work on the Parks referendum project. <br />Staff briefly highlighted the past months department <br />happenings: <br />1. Student Intern Gail Johansen will be within <br />the department until August 7, 1981. <br />2. The new forestry arrangement was working ver <br />well. <br />COMMISSIONER'S REPORT Commissioner Letendre indicated that the J,C.'s might <br />be willing to assist with the construction of warming <br />house shelter buildings. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />epect`fu <br />A motion was made by Linke, seconded by Fedor to adjourn <br />the meeting at 8:35 p.m. <br />The motion passed unanimously. <br />by Bruce K.
