MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE <br /> PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> 3 <br /> November 24, 1982 <br /> Mounds View City Hall <br /> Council Chambers <br /> 6 : 30 p .m. <br /> Call to order The meeting was called to order by Chairman <br /> Wayne Burmeister at 6 : 45 p .m. <br /> Roll Call Commissioners Present: Weflin, Wermager, Bowman, <br /> Silvis , Burmeister and Letendre <br /> Staff Present: Director Anderson and Program <br /> Supervisor Saarion <br /> Approval of Minutes Frank Silvis moved approval of the minutes , <br /> Cindy Wermager seconded the motion. <br /> Motion carried. 6 ayes <br /> 0 nayes <br /> Park Shelter Building Two of the purchased shelters have arrived at <br /> Update both the Hillview and Woodcrest sites . A temporary <br /> shelter will be used a Greenfield . The Groveland <br /> shelter will arrive soon. The permanent shelter <br /> Swill be used for the first time this winter at <br /> Lambert Park. Groveland Park area residents are <br /> interested in staffing the rink shelter building <br /> during the skating season -- with the understanding <br /> that the money which is saved can be spent for <br /> Groveland Park improvements . <br /> City Code Review The park dedication code is being reviewed by the <br /> City Council. Commissioners reviewed the revised <br /> proposal which was supported by the Planning Commission. <br /> Frank Silvis moved to approve the proposal as written <br /> by the Planning Commission. Cindy Wermager seconded <br /> the motion. Motion passed. 6 ayes <br /> 0 nayes <br /> Recreation Programs Program Supervisor Saarion reviewed the fall pro— <br /> grams and gave a short preview of winter programs . <br /> Staff Report Director Anderson gave summaries of N.R.P .A. Congress <br /> special sessions on "adopt a park" and Japanese <br /> management. <br /> Adjournment Motion was made by Wayne Weflin to adjourn the <br /> meeting .
