-3- <br /> The Commission discussed the possibility of adding <br /> a multi-purpose hardcourt surface at Silver View <br /> along with the parking lot. A motion was made by <br /> • Commissioner Silvis, seconded by Commissioner Long <br /> to direct staff to pursue the installation of a <br /> multi-purpose hardcourt surface at Silver View <br /> Park with the $5,400 in funds previously budgeted <br /> for Hillview Park building relocation. The motion <br /> passed unanimously 6 ayes, 0 nayes. <br /> LAWCON GRANT PROPOSAL Director Saarion reviewed the ranking procedures <br /> for LAWCON funding and asked suggestions from the <br /> Commission on possible projects. After a <br /> discussion of possibilities, a motion was made by <br /> Commissioner Silvis, seconded by Chairperson <br /> Burmeister to request LAWCON funding of an <br /> ungraded pathway system in Silver View Park. The <br /> motion passed unanimously 6 ayes, 0 nayes. <br /> OLD BUSINESS The following items were reviewed: <br /> 1. Completion of the Pinewood Playground project. <br /> 2. Auditions for the MVCT production "West Side <br /> Story" to be held on June 6 and 7. <br /> 3.
